The Young Philharmonia is a flagship orchestra, attracting players aged between 11 and 21 from across the north of England. The Cathedral Choir , with its subsections of boys, girls, lay clerks and an adult consort, leads the choral worship at the Cathedral, as well as touring, recording and broadcasting Monthly Tuesday Coffee Concerts , accompanied by coffee and cake, add further to the live music on offer at Bradford Cathedral.

Originally built by the townspeople of Wakefield in the mid 14th century as an integral part of Wakefield's new stone bridge. Nowadays, the Chantry Chapel is often open for exhibitions, talks, and other events - including occasional concerts and recitals - as well as for regular services. This imposing grade 2 listed building is full of original stained glass windows, wood panelling, beautiful columns and ornate ceilings. The Town Hall contains an intimate seat concert hall, spectacular function and meeting rooms, plus it also contains the Old Court Room.
It is a site of great historic interest, dating back to , but remains an active community with many residents and different organisations In a major renovation was carried out by Wood of Huddersfield. The organ was brought to modern concert pitch and can now be used to accompany other instruments. The Minster Chamber Choir is for experienced singers who sing occasional services, and some concerts. The standard is high, and an ability to read music is essential. Joint occasions with the Minster Choir and Brass make for an exciting performance, especially around Christmas and the Minster Summer Festival.
New members always welcome The Friends of the Music organize series of lunchtime organ recitals on Thursdays. It reveals the former assembly room painstakingly restored to its original Victorian splendour, with a barrel vaulted ceiling, arched windows and gothic motif decoration. It provides a seat flexible performance space which is home to the orchestra of Opera North and an exciting new venue in Leeds showing an eclectic programme.

The Town Hall was opened by Queen Victoria in and is home to an impressive 3-manual organ, the largest of its kind in Europe, built by Gray and Davidson. The Wurlitzer is beneath the Main Hall stage, with an array of beautiful pipework permanently sited under the stage, and the console rising on a hydraulic lift for performances and concerts The Cinema Organ Society promote regular theatre organ concerts and dances by top British and international artists, as well as by younger up-and-coming players.
