Our family of four the kids are teens met with another of similar ages to take a walk around the lake today. The location is good as it is close to motorways and major roads so getting there is pretty simple.

There were plenty of people about, but not too many. It was still easy to keep up social distancing while walking the full distance around the lake.

The taxi rank at the front of the station will remain closed over the coming weeks, and pick-ups and drop off will remain available from Muir Street. Once complete, the station will have an expanded park and ride at Farm Street, new facilities for taxis, car drop-offs and disabled parking, expansion of bus facility on Muir Street, refurbished customer toilets and waiting facilities and an enhanced station forecourt and building with glazed roof and brighter, larger concourse.

There will also be improved ticket retailing facilities at the station, enhanced retail environment with food and drink offering and improvements for pedestrian and cycling access.
